2006 Wallpaper & Art Revolution: Competition Results
HOWLing Project : Round 1 "Butcher The Song"
An ongoing project where participants sign up monthly to take on a collaborative project with a universal theme of music. For the first round, tracks from two selected albums will be walled by the participants by their choosing. This is not a contest or for competition, it is purely designed just for fun and judging will not take place. Also, the project aims to try and help the participants and others to explore music they may not have heard before and spread the love of particular genres that may not usually get much attention.

General stuff to know:
- Anyone can participate, feel free to join and also dont be fooled in thinking that you have to make a long term commitment to this. Wallers can do only one or as many rounds of the project as they please.
- Generally be open, try to have a good attitude, and motivation to want to take part in this. Just because you dont particularly like or dislike a choice made on the subject matter then simply dont participate. With that kind of attitude, this would fail anyways as we can all do walls on what we already know and like.
- Lastly, there are essentially no rules or a specific set of guidelines to follow for the wall you may make. Do whatever you feel or want to do after hearing the track of your choosing.
- And lastly a sidenote, this will not be enforced but if at all possible, try picking a track someone else has not already taken. Though if someone has taken your choice by some chance and you feel strongly about doing that particular track, no stress, feel free to do it anyways. You will not be antagonized for it or any of the such.

Takoyaki is SO addictive ><. When I get back to the states I'll be hunting all over the asian shopping centers for them...
mmmm Takoyaki.. I've always wanted to try them, 'cause they look so good when drawn (it's like watching Death Note makes me crave cakes 'cause L's always eating them) XD And plus, I love octopus :D
I might take up the request if I get inspiration, 'cause I've got a request in mind XD
On the rare chance that someone will actually look here: I won't be able to check my PMs until Wednesday (July 1st) evening, which technically gives you almost an extra day to get which?waller entries in! :D

I'm uber jealous of your study abroad trip in Japan and the takoyaki goodness that you're describing. If some of my current plans don't go according to, well, plan, maybe I should make study-abroad in Japan my back-up option > _< I wish Japan wasn't so expensive though :(

Hm...in that case, I'd like Moar walls with TAKOYAKI please ^_^. It can be featured or at least somewhere in the foreground (shouldn't be hidden in the background). I've had so many of these in Kyoto...a few times I just had them for dinner ><.
I've decided for Moar Plz! to tweak the rules a bit. Since it's been a while since Jade made her request, I'll ask her to make another request x] Her original request will still stay up in case someone decides to wall it down the line, but she gets to make an extra one for having waited this long! So that'll be part of the project rules going forward - if no one walls your request after an extended period of time then you get two requests for the price of having walled one request ;)
